We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:
•    The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of 24x7 production support to Middleware technologies and work as a Subject Matter Expert for the production support team.
•    Perform Root Cause Analysis and provide permanent fixes.
•    Investigate and provide solutions related to performance issues.
•    Lead team in crisis calls, participate in MIR and PIR calls, also mentor team members. 
•    Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery.
•    Identify automation and Self-Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes.

Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 
•    Support the project initiatives and ensure appropriate level of WebSphere environment support is provided to resolve application / infrastructure issues during the various pre-production and production phases.
•    • Support the project initiatives and ensure that the appropriate level of support is provided for web technology offerings to resolve infrastructure issues during the various lifecycle phases.
•    • Understand and apply standards, best practices to ensure compliance and consistently maintain quality in deliverables.
•    • Comply with the processes in place and ensure the agreed service levels are met with the expected level of quality 
•    • Review the processes proactively & consistently to implement improvement plans and to support organization objectives for efficiency. 
•    • Ensure high availability of services.
•    • Understand business requirements and technical specifications to prioritize incidents
•    • Follow best practices while addressing issues 
•    • Apply performance monitoring / tuning methodologies to investigate issues reported for any of the web technology offerings.
•    • Participate in crisis calls, DQR, and MIR as applicable following the appropriate guidelines & etiquettes
•    • Own the resolution of problems, demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent recurrence.
•    • Understand the escalation matrix & escalate issues in a timely manner, where necessary.
•    • Ready to work in 24x7 support environment. 
•    • Understanding the business services HSBC offers & their respective architectures and criticalities.
•    • 6+ years of experience in the architecture, topology, configuration, management, and support of below Web technology offerings:
WebSphere Application Server / IHS
Portal Server
Liberty profile 
BPM
Oracle Weblogic
Apache Tomcat
Knowledge of the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
Prior experience with problem determination & performance monitoring tools like IBM Support Assistant Workbench, Heap Analyzer etc. and log files to troubleshoot issues.
Knowledge of wsadmin scripting
Good knowledge of Unix operating systems and commands
Directory Services (LDAP/ForgeRock)
Basic understanding of databases
Networking principles and interoperability.

Additional Skill
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Wily and Appdynamics
• WebTechnologies like JBoss, NodeJS
• Other middleware technologies like messaging, datapower etc.
• Integration platforms like Mulesoft, Kong etc.
• DevOps/Automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Jenkins, GitHub etc.
• Basic knowledge about cloud computing frameworks like AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
