We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an SSV Business Finance (GCB 5).
Role Purpose
The position sits within the Global Banking and Markets (GB&M) Finance Function and will be a hybrid role supporting the business partnership for Securities Services (SSV) but also undertake cost management responsibilities across GB&M in Asia.
Principal Accountabilities
- Be the liaison point between Regional Team in HK and Finance Operations Team in India, provide guidance and directions and act as first point of contact for the review of production delivered.
- SSV Business Finance:
- Support the production of insightful and timely MI and forward-looking analysis, drive business & performance through financial analytical support and challenge business actions to maximize profitability and returns.
- Support the Finance Resource Planning (FRP) and Forecasting processes for SSV.
- Identify opportunities to use latest tools and technology (e.g. Python, R, Qliksense, etc) to improve insight, reporting and processes under the role-holders direct accountability.
- Support ad-hoc requests from senior management and Global Teams.
- GB&M Cost Management:
- Provide Cost Management Information for GB&M including review and analysis of monthly cost performance and deep-dive analysis to drive efficiency and enable decision making.
- Support the Finance Resource Planning (FRP) and Forecasting processes for GB&M.
- Develop and enhance existing Management Information to better articulate the cost story to stakeholders and improve efficiency in processes.

- Experience in Business Finance or related finance discipline.
- Strategic thinker and commercially minded with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Fast learner who is curious and proactive with a can-do attitude and change mind-set.
- Strong commitment and results driven, able to thrive in a complex and fast changing environment and execute at pace.
- Effective team player with good inter-personal, influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and connect with various teams across countries and functions.
- Knowledge of python, R, Qliksense, etc would be advantageous.
- Active learner with a growth mindset, proactive and willingness to challenge assumptions and status quo
