Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB)
Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with USD1.4 trillion in assets.  Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers’ needs.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

In this role, you will:

 

Identify and develop new business opportunities to support customer volume expansion ambition

To develop new channel and activities in promoting valuable customer size.

The job holder needs to successful implementation of Premier acquisition strategies and acquiring new-to-bank customers via self-generated leads

The job holder must support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behavior, actions and decision-making.

The job holder will also act as team leader for training, coaching and team performance driving.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Minimum of three years proven and progressive financial services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent

Sound knowledge of various forms of deposits, WEM product, mortgage, etc.

Knowledge of the constantly changing laws/regulations governing banks/finance industry, consumer trends, competitor offerings, economic and foreign currency markets

Strong presentation and sales skills

Objection handling techniques and work under pressure

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Customer service orientation

Excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills

Strong sales and organization ability and problem solving skills

Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by market

Attain any internal standards as required by HBCN
