We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Business Compliance and Control Management.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the team to work with business parties to review and implement the highest standard of risk management, control and compliance required by the Group on fund / asset management business and local regulatory requirement
  • Assist to conduct robust review and the business model, procedures, control measures, internal control and management information, with an aim to boost sales control effectiveness and performance
  • Ensure all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank by observing the established internal control systems and monitoring the effectiveness of these systems
  • Keep abreast of relevant group guidelines (including but not limited to Group Risk Management Framework and FIM) as well as regulatory requirements, and identify their impacts and necessary controls in fund / asset management business
Requirements

Requirements

  • University Graduate in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Knowledge or work experience from Chief Control Office (CCO) or Business Risk and Control Management (BRCM) is a preferred
  • Knowledge or work experience in HSBC Group and Hang Seng Bank is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience on system and product implementation/ operations/ compliance/ risk management is preferred
  • Knowledge of investment products such as investment funds, structured products, China connects initiatives is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure, detail-oriented with strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Good team-player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Discipline in planning time management and organization skills
  • Proven reading and writing skills
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese and Mandarin
