We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Corporate Banking Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Work to achieve the Group strategy and business objectives
  • Share knowledge, experience and best practices within and outside of immediate team and promote a collective culture to spread experience and best practice
  • Manage a portfolio of International Banking clients and build upon existing and winning new long-term relationships with the customers we want to bank, coherent with Corporate Banking strategy to be the Leading International Trade and Commercial Bank
  • Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment
  • Collaborating with product partners to identify and match customer needs with relevant expertise
  • Ensure a quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional’s interaction with HSBC
  • Maintain awareness of operational and fraud risk within assigned portfolio and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
  • Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank’s profile in the local community, with a particular focus on international business
Requirements

To be successful you will

  • Working knowledge in commercial banking products and banking operations 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, telephone and customer servicing skills 
  • Strong learning ability and comfortable with learning 
  • Able to effectively interact with people at all levels and be a team player 
  • Possess lots of initiative, drive and pride in getting the job done the right way the first time
