We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate II, Corporate Risk Solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Provide solution-orientated coverage for transactions under HSBC Capital Markets and Advisory and HSBC Infrastructure Finance
  • Accountable for a portfolio of priority corporate and sponsor clients, driving CRS revenue growth and client relationship coverage
  • Partner with stakeholders across Capital Markets and Advisory, HSBC Infrastructure Finance, Markets and Securities Services, and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) coverage to deliver customized hedging solutions for event-driven transactions
  • Develop insightful content aligned with client needs, transaction objectives, and prevailing market conditions to generate innovative trade ideas and foster impactful client discussions
  • Contribute to team excellence by sharing expertise, championing best practices, and cultivating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets, especially on foreign exchange instruments (Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards, and Futures), interest rate and credit derivatives, with the ability to navigate and manage a diverse and complex product set
  • Prior experience in corporate and/or investment banking, finance, investment, or accounting is preferred; Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, with a detail-oriented approach and robust problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex situations with multiple objectives, supported by a proven track record of success; High motivation, strong work ethic, and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills, articulate and confident, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at various levels
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Associate position
