Global Network Banking (GNB) is Corporate and Institutional Banking’s international proposition which aims to provide banking coverage to the subsidiaries of Banking customers within the Global Corporate (GC) and International Mid-Market Enterprise (IMM) segments. The Global Network Banking strategy is to provide consistent, in-depth and dedicated coverage across the HSBC network with the end goal to deepen our relationship with our customers. The Global Network Banking business is a significant contributor of revenue to Banking and consists of a network of dedicated bankers across more than 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Servicing and Support Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

The Relationship Associate will be working closely with Relationship Managers to acquire, manage and grow client relationship by providing a superior level of client servicing and client proximity.

In this role you will

  • Support GNB to attain their strategic growth targets

  • Laise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness and delivery of high service levels

  • Liaise and follow up with Banking offices on inward/outward referrals and other operational matters

  • Follow up and ensure timely preparation and receipt of loan, security and other documentation in line with the credit approvals and facilitate activation of facilities

  • Participate in ad hoc projects relating to improving operation processes and customer experience

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures

  • Be adaptive to ongoing changes within the organization and support the implementation of needed changes in the department

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Preferably a diploma holder or graduate, with a strong desire to serve customers

  • Working knowledge in commercial banking products and banking operations

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, telephone and customer servicing skills

  • Strong learning ability and comfortable with learning

  • Able to effectively interact with people at all levels and be a team player

  • Possess lots of initiative, drive and pride in getting the job done the right way the first time
