The Opportunity:

  • Digital Business Services (DBS) Transformation Services Business Analysts are at the centre of how Global Transformation shapes, delivers and embeds change, working with the business and our delivery partners. They are typically responsible for Requirements Management, Design, Change Management, and Implementation Management.
  • Business Analysts work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating, and clarifying requirements and defining design options. Business Analyst’s Change Management activities span from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions while tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback.

What you’ll do:

  • Define, document, and manage business requirements in a clear, meaningful, and structured way during the project lifecycle. Identify and assess impact of change on the current state to arrive at the target state.
  • Be responsible for reviewing the test strategy, test plan, and test scenarios, while also providing oversight for testing activities.
  • Need to be able to work independently and with high level of flexibility, to consult with business/ stakeholders at all levels and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and think laterally to identify solutions based on proven best practices or new approaches.
  • Anticipate and identify potential risks or unforeseen roadblocks and act proactively to mitigate them swiftly.
  • Understand the Group’s priorities, business drivers, competitors, and competitive strategy to help drive strategically and commercially aligned solutions while considering the underlying aspects of risk/ reward.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding and promote design thinking methodologies, utilizing them throughout the change ideation and delivery lifecycle. This involves activities such as persona mapping to ensure a customer-centric approach to solution design.
  • Apply customer centric approach by identifying the change and assessing its impact across the organization while preparing and supporting impacted individuals and teams to seamlessly adopt the change.

What you will need to succeed in the role: 

  • Critical thinking by bringing structure and order to undefined and/ or large-scale problems to solve them systematically, logically, and independently.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills along with effective inter-personal and negotiation skills.
  • An Agile mindset with the ability to adapt and iterate quickly, with continuous improvement and feedback.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, brainstorming sessions, scope definition, requirements management, preparing and presenting options papers, as well as documenting non-functional requirements.
  • Overall knowledge of the banking and financial services industry and domain along with specific functional expertise.
  • Experience of effectively implementing and managing both business and technology changes within an organization to ensure a seamless transition to Business as Usual (BAU), including successful change adoption by both external and internal stakeholders.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or any equivalent certification would be an added advantage.
