We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Finance Manager, Asset Management.
Principal Responsibilities
- Oversight of Reporting - Review and oversee monthly Management Information reports for Asia & Middle East, providing insightful commentaries and variance analyses
- Variance Analysis - Analyze and explain the drivers of variances, generating detailed insights and recommendations
- Performance Insights - Identify concerns and opportunities, reporting on the underlying factors affecting financial performance
- Data Visualization - Create interactive analyses using Tableau to enhance data interpretation and decision-making
- Financial Assessments - Conduct capability reviews, analyze product margins, and evaluate flow dynamics
- Segment Analysis - Assess product penetration across segments and compare required versus actual returns by product, channel, and segment
- Process Improvement - Act as a systems and process expert, leading projects in collaboration with GFO (offshore team), including developing and restructuring MI reports (e.g. inclusion of MENA, new business & entities driven by projects), oversight system monthly maintenance
- Executive Financial Analysis - Deliver comprehensive financial analyses and commentaries for the Executive Council, Board and relevant committees
- Stakeholder Reporting - Provide key highlights, suggest actionable opportunities, and raise concerns for senior management attention
- Educational Background - Bachelor's degree in business or related field with substantial experience in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting within the financial industry
- Market Insight - Strong forward-looking mindset that aligns with current market conditions
- Interpersonal Skills - Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating strong business acumen
- Technical Proficiency - Excellent system and spreadsheet skills; familiarity with TM1 and Tableau is preferred
- Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team Collaboration - A proactive team player who can challenge norms and resolve issues independently
- Adaptability - Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
