We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Client Events Manager

The purpose of the role is:

• Work as a key team member to organise, manage, and administer roadshows and conferences, on direction from and in liaison with the business, for stakeholders in both a virtual and physical capacity.  This role works closely with other Client Events & Roadshows team members locally, regionally and globally.

• End to end responsibility of roadshows and conferences including logistics, branding, website management, preparation of all comms, project, venue, onsite, production and supplier management.

In this role you will be:

• Execute multiple roadshows and events, with varying deadlines in a pressurised environment aligned with business objectives

• Ensure all roadshows and events are run in a professional manner whilst adhering to end-to-end finance process

• Provide advice and support to the business on most efficient and cost-effective way to achieve maximum meeting/presentation opportunities with clients.

• Build relationships with various businesses including Capital Markets, Global Research, Equity Sales, and Global Investor Access to understand their needs and requirements

• Build relationships with various suppliers to ensure all logistic and production requirements can be met

• Build relationships with other business partners locally, regionally, and globally

 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•Relevant experience of managing roadshows and conferences, in both a virtual and physical capacity, and ideally within the finance industry

• Experience/knowledge of online event platforms including building websites, writing comms for invites and scheduling investor meetings

•Ability to lead small to medium scale events and roadshows, flexibility to travel, sometimes over weekends for set up. Experience within a hectic and pressurised working environment is preferable.   

• Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure, extreme tight timelines and to cover projects across different time zones/regions   

• Excellent communication skills, as are good tact and diplomacy, as the role requires constant communication with internal and external clients. Excellent time management, strong organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multi-task        

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proven rapid learning capability. Committed to the completion of work tasks within timeline given.         

• Must have flexible approach to work and working hours. High standard of spoken and written English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
