The Opportunity:

Understand Group and CMB strategy, help define technical strategy and execute which to fulfill business needs and aspirations on growth, management and control.
Plan for people and project management, provide coaching and guiding directly or indirectly to teams having developers, testers, analyst and architects inside by giving clear direction, feedbacks and timely suggestions to ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
Address existing technical debt and drive for technical evolution aka Digital Transformation for the teams by working closely with various parties including business, SMEs, Solution Architects globally                                   
Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with business and relevant stakeholders.  Manage expectation of key stakeholders and work jointly to maximize interest of business and customers                                             
Manage supply and demand pipeline and give guidance, direction for making decision to achieve goals, deliver products that align with business
Drive the product accuracy on document classification and data extraction to benefit more to our global business

What you’ll do:

• Work with the team to deliver all the project for CogAuto Team include HTS&non-HTS
• Responsible for any Development task e.g. Java, Python, React.
• Responsible for any Cloud development and deployment tasks e.g. GCP, Ali, IKP
• Responsible for any CI/CD tasks for CogAuto
• Responsible for any application support and violation fix
• Follow and main all the coding standard and improve the development quality.
• Develop and retain a high level of understanding of business and IT systems requirements, to enable appropriate support and guidance to be given to Teams.
• Defines test strategies for global change, champions and directs change implementations to deliver faster and better. Own and standardize test strategy model to ensure different projects / programmes are running the similar approach.
• Lead/Manage and provide direction for the production of test estimates, Test Strategies, risk assessments, scripting and execution so that these are completed satisfactorily.
• Demonstrate and apply excellent business domain knowledge.
• Lead functional testing team for SIT, UAT and OAT etc.  Lead/Manage the completion of all functional testing projects by establishment and strong monitoring of schedules/resources/costs ensuring completion to agreed quality expectations.
• Initiate and/or support continuous process improvement to achieve productivity and efficiency gains. Provide cost benefits as required.
• Build trusting relationships with stakeholders by consistently meeting and delivering upon their business needs; demonstrating and being respected for your domain knowledge
• Manage all onshore and offshore global testing resources in all testing activities to achieve project goals.
• Manage project risks as they relate to quality and mitigate impacts to deliverables
• Coordinate with various participants and teams to prepare test cases, data set-ups and test environments
• Work as the Test Manager on testing project, and manage the ODC vendor team on the project delivery, and quality assurance.
• Participate to vendor management on the billing and delivery.

• 5+ years’ experience of software developments with both water-Fall and Agile methodologies. 
• Strong in development technology e.g. Java, Python
• Experience on Cloud technology e.g. GCP, Ali Cloud, IKP.
• Understand Micro services & API, Design
• Experience and Knowledge with Database and SQL                                                              
• Knowledge and experience on DevOps, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), Agile control Framework.                                                                           
• Are passionate about technology and look for opportunities to learn & bring new ideas to the team.                                                                         
• Have experience with Java and web based technologies (JavaScript framework, HTML5, CSS) and Database(Oracle)                                     
• Have experience with Production Support and incident management
• Demonstrable ability to mentor, develop talent and motivate staff to reach their optimum performance levels and career development

• Excellent knowledge of their technical environment and will have significant    responsibility in setting the way forward in the types of technology they look after. Forward thinking, making the right decisions based on  strategy
