We also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centers and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank.

Our multi-disciplined teams include: DevOps engineers, IT architects, front and back end developers, infrastructure specialists, cyber experts, as well as project and programme managers.

Finance On the Cloud is a multi year programme which will rationalise operational processes, automate data and report production, to deliver comprehensive data to our internal and external stakeholders for analysis and reporting.

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Data Technology IT Team, working as Finance Data Technology Consultant Specialist.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborates with designers/developers to acquire knowledge of the system solution and the expected end to end usage pattern

• Works closely with business users to collect testing requirements and participates in test planning with documentation

• Supports system code changes specific to Finance requirements

• Collects and document test cases and testing evidence in good shape and fulfilling audit requirement

• Supports Functional Integration Test and User Acceptance Test, assist business users to perform testing and result checking

• Adopts Agile methodology for collaboration

• Manages user’s queries and defects raised during the FIT/UAT

• Coordinates with other testing participants to prepare test cases, test data and environment setup

• Coordinates and undertakes test execution tasks, assists result checking and problem investigation and proposes root cause of issue to ensure good testing quality

• Adopts flexible working hours, but is able to accommodate in different time-zones (eg: UK, HK, India) to work seamlessly with the global team for defects/queries follow up

• 1+ years’ experience in development on Cloud platform (GCP, Azure,Ali, Tencent)

• 1+ years' experience in ETL programming, Python programming

• Ability to easily navigate and adapt quickly and effectively using different tools and technologies, e.g. Jira, Confluence, Teams

• Strong technical analysis skills, with the ability to define a problem, assess it and propose solutions based on facts / data

• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, thinks analytically and communicate effectively

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability

• Strong team player, highly collaborative and able to work in large team of global structure with different cultural background

• Good communication skills, fluent verbal and written in English, and an ability to interact professionally with an array of business users

• Hands-on experience / knowledge on Google Cloud Platform is a must, and on Azure is advantage

• Working experience on project tools such as Confluence, Jira

• Experience of working on Finance IT project is an advantage

• Familiar with source control management and tools such as Git
