The Opportunity:
This role is part of the Innovation and Gen AI tech team and is responsible for supporting the use cases delivery on Innovation and GenAI, including: New use case onboarding; design, development/coding, testing & deployment into Production.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with stakeholders across business, architects, analytics and IT to an intelligent-led, deliver data driven solution on top of cloud platform.
Work with Tech Lead and Solution Architects to complete the low level design.
Collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) who are responsible for delivering HSBC baseline cloud architecture.
Ensure DevSecOps capabilities are built in as part of the solution.
Ensure development is completed at a high standard and is aligned with IT governance and control frameworks.
Requirements
High Level & Holistic Capabilities sought:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; advanced degree is preferred
GCP or AWS certified (GCP preferred)
Prompt engineering experience preferred
Excellent core Python skills
Sound understanding of Azure / Google Cloud platforms
Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, Storage, Cloud Functions
Experience in performing data analysis, on Databases (SQL, no-SQL, DBT)
CI/CD pipelines
Security (IAM, AD, ADLDS, roles, service accounts, entitlements)
Events & Data Streaming: Data Proc, Pub-Sub, Confluent/Kafka
Strong problem solving skills and able to work independently and under pressure
Ability to communicate and explain complex ideas in both oral and written English
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience using GIT, Jira, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and Ansible
Agile development, in particular Scrum/Kanban
Knowledge in Generative AI application is a plus.
