Department: - CTO Data Technology – Data Assets & Provisioning Tech

In this role, you will:

• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data models
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models to support both structured and unstructured databases
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy and compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to implement and validate data models.
• Conduct data model reviews, optimize data structures for performance and support change management processes.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of data modeling practices
• Desing and maintain application logical and physical data models aligning to enterprise logical data model
• Supporting Engineering teams and Business Analysts to understand the physical data models and create API contracts 
• Contribute in mentoring junior team members.
• Need to document all the critical design decisions made during data model starting from requirements gathering phase till creation of physical data models.
• Conduct regular data model reviews with enterprise data modelling team,SME’s or business stakeholders from different LOB’s.
   

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Demonstrate expertise in ER Modelling, normalization techniques and No -SQL DB like MongoDB combined with development experience in Mainframe, Python and Mongo DB.
• Hands on experience in the entire data lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis through design, development, testing and post-production support.
• collaborating with cross functional teams, bridging business needs with scalable, well-structured data models that support enterprise-wide applications and analytics.

Skill: 

• Data Modeling:  ER modelling, Logical and Physical Data models
• Dabases: MongoDB,DB2
• Modelling tools: Visual Paradigm
• Methodology: Agile
• Domain Expertise: Banking & Financial services.
• Good to have Programming language like Python, Mainframe etc
