The ERM People Development Delivery Support Manager is an exciting opportunity that will be part of the Chief of Staff team within the Global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function. The successful candidate will be in a global role, providing oversight in all regions and sites in which Risk and Compliance operate and will be responsible for the successful management and execution of the People, Training and Comms strategy for ERM.

In this role you will:

•    Drive and support the Chief of Staff team, ensuring that all initiatives are delivered to a high standard and on time.
•    Support and contribute to a best-in-class people strategy and roadmap for the ERM function that demonstrably, increases employee engagement via Snapshot scores.
•    Support the requirement for technical training programmes across the function.
•    Take part in the design, delivery and organisation of all ERM engagement initiatives, including Town Halls, monthly global updates, relevant mailboxes and the ERM SharePoint site.
•    Lead the design and maintenance of the ERM Degreed Pathway, ensuring content is relevant and refreshed on a regular basis.
•    Co-ordinate the management and oversight associated with the ERM Service Catalogue.
•    Confidently represent ERM to your key internal stakeholders and wider colleagues.
•    Support the team on a forward-looking agenda for emerging risks and challenges that ERM and the Bank may face.
•    Ensure appropriate and timely escalations as and when challenges arise.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    An understanding of the impact of risk management within HSBC Group.
•     Knowledge of a financial institutions business model, products and key risk drivers.
•    Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to provide updates in a clear and concise manner.
•    Proven ability to drive People and Training agendas.
•    Ability to lead and promote a strong risk control culture and continually improve risk awareness.
•    Ability to present complex technical concepts and results to non-technical audiences in a persuasive and compelling manner.
•    Team-oriented mentality combined with ability to complete tasks independently to a high-quality standard.
•    A change agent who challenges the status quo diplomatically, constructively and positively in order to lead relevant strategies that enable safe growth of HSBC.
