We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Event Planning Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead and organize learning and leadership events and programs, including overseas Stars of Excellence Events and celebration events across various sales channels including RTD, CMB, and GPB
- Oversee events from pre-event planning, budget management, distribution channel management, senior management liaison, onsite execution and final cost analysis, ensuring adherence to project milestones and financial targets
- Work closely with internal key stakeholders, including frontline teams, distribution partners, and senior management ensuring the events and programs are complied with internal governance
- Manage and work in partnership with external partners, including event and travel agencies, speakers, and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of events and programs
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure effective use of event services and supplies
- University Graduate
- Minimum 6-8 years’ work experience in event management and/or related fields, preferably in insurance / banking / financial services sector
- Experience in managing overseas conferences and events would be a definite advantage
- Innovative and resourceful in soliciting and enhancing partnership with different stakeholders
- Energetic, open-minded, self-motivated, and capable of taking full ownership of projects
- Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communications and presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
