We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Full Stack Engineer.

The Full stack Engineering role takes responsibility for delivery and consultancy IT projects. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects by providing technical / application guidance to project teams and providing guidance to multiple project teams. The responsibilities entail areas such as conducting feasibility studies, requirement analysis, design and development, technology update, knowledge sharing, as well as coding. The Full stack Engineering role should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.

In this role you will:

•  Develop new user-facing features using React.js
•  Design a modern highly responsive web-based user interface
•  Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
•  Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
•  Optimise components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
•  Coordinate with various teams working on distinct layers
•  Conduct system test, user acceptance test and provide support on system implementation.
•  Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to latest industry standards and best practices
•  Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•  Hands-on experience and understanding of React.js and its core principles in the most recent projects 
•  Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, CSS-In-JS and JavaScript (ES6/ES2020), adhering to industry defined coding standards
•  Good understanding of QA technologies and processes (Jest, RTL) – TDD and unit testing, specifically what constitutes a good unit test
•  Experience in test driven React.js development
•  Experience with REST API's connectivity and Error handling
•  Tooling knowledge – Git, JIRA, SonarQube, Jenkins, Postman, AppD.

This role is based in Sheffield.
