CIB includes Global Payments Solutions (GPS), Global Trade Solutions (GTS), Markets & Securities Services (MSS), Investment Banking, Global Coverage and key geographies in Europe and the Americas.
The CIB & HBEU GCIO function comprises a global team of circa 16,000 staff worldwide and an annual operating budget of approximately $2bn. The CIO for CIB reports into the Group CIO who is responsible for circa 60,000 staff and an annual operating budget of approximately $7 billion.
What you’ll do
- Provide oversight, guidance, support and management information to monitor and ensure effective third-party engagement management across Connectivity services globally. Activities include- Monitor and report Archer/ OneTPM tasks, liaise with wider GCIO TPEM’s to drive conclusions, hold vendors to account on risk and performance management (including but not limited to SLA’s and KIP’s), work collaboratively with GTPM Hub on risk management activities and evidence risk acceptance in Archer/One TPM.
- Provide SME support and Manage the CIB TPEM’s and be the point of escalation. Act as the primary point of contact for owned engagements and interact directly with the third party in relation to Service/s received.
- Hold vendors to account for performance. Initiate and track remediation activities and ensure they are completed in a timely manner by third parties.
- Review Supplier Performance Dashboard, obtain oversight of aggregated Supplier Risks and Performance RAG status and share with key stakeholders.
- Drive risk management activities with business Stakeholders, escalate to appropriate Risk Governance forum the long standing and overdue issues for critical engagement
- Hold regular meetings with Third Parties to review holistic performance and ensure minutes are documented with actions. Participate in developing a plan to improve service provision and create opportunities for growth.
- Support and cooperate with your line manager in implementing new solutions, project manage TPRM and contract related initiatives.
- Seek improvements and drive initiatives to effectively manage Third Party Risk in CIB.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- TPRM and VRM experience of 5+ years.
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Business English language with familiarity of legal and tech vocabulary.
- Familiarity with technology service delivery models and understanding legal agreements interpretation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities, strong depth and breadth of technology knowledge.
- Effective stakeholder management skills with a focus on building long-term relationships, and collaborating directly with a variety of vendors, customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority (technical, business, development, compliance, etc.) regularly using this network to engage on issue resolution; proven ability to articulate complex and technical issues concisely, suitable for all levels across the HSBC group.
- Be intuitive and able to troubleshoot issues and problems as they occur, being the driving force of solutions; gravitas and ability to interact with senior business management and vendors.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing activities, schedules and workloads; respectful of different cultures, and experience of working with colleagues from across the globe as part of a global team.

- Substantive and consistent experience developing applications using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Java, C++, C#, or Python).
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 20 134 PLN - 30 191 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4786 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
