CIB includes Global Payments Solutions (GPS), Global Trade Solutions (GTS), Markets & Securities Services (MSS), Investment Banking, Global Coverage and key geographies in Europe and the Americas. The CIB & HBEU GCIO function comprises a global team of circa 16,000 staff worldwide and an annual operating budget of approximately $2bn. The CIO for CIB reports into the Group CIO who is responsible for circa 60,000 staff and an annual operating budget of approximately $7 billion.   
The Vendor Performance Lead is the framework owner for vendor performance management across CIB. The role drives service excellence by applying consistent performance standards, strengthening vendor accountability through structured governance and review cadences, and maintaining close operational partnership with Vendor Managers and Ops Management. The individual will manage the Performance Management sub-team and own end-to-end delivery of the performance pillar.

What you’ll do
    • Performance framework ownership — design, implement, and continuously improve the CIB vendor performance framework, aligned to Group standards.
    • Scorecard execution — oversee scorecard development, population, and governance meeting support across the vendor portfolio.
    • Governance meeting oversight — coordinate and chair vendor performance reviews; ensure actions are tracked, escalated, and closed.
    • Remediation oversight — manage formal remediation plans for vendors in breach; convert service failures into measurable commercial recovery.
    • Data aggregation & insight — drive cyclical aggregation of risk, spend, and performance data; move the function from manual data scrubbing to continuous, dynamic trend analysis.
    • Operational alignment — act as the primary VMO interface with Ops Management on performance-related matters, TPS processes, and Mis.
    • Team management — lead and develop a team of Vendor Performance Analysts and Managers, ensuring delivery quality and capability growth.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Exceptional stakeholder management — confident operating across Ops Management, Finance, Architecture, Risk, and CIO-level audiences.
    • Strong analytical and data aggregation capability; able to move between detailed data and strategic narrative.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication — capable of authoring CIO-level reporting and governance packs independently.
    • Process improvement mindset — proactively identifies inefficiencies and drives standardisation.
    • Resilient and structured under competing priorities, with the ability to manage delivery across a distributed, multi-geography team.
    • Experience with FSA/FSW frameworks.
    • Exposure to vendor consolidation programmes, contract renegotiation, or cost optimisation initiatives.

What we offer
The pay range for this role is 20 134 PLN – 29 000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
