Your career opportunity
This role will be responsible for model development of operational risk category models, making sure that models in use are fit for purpose.
Responsibilities include contributing to and leading development projects according to model life cycle, as well as model implementation, as well as being a deputy for model owner when needed.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to and lead a team of quant developers through model development projects, according to operating instructions.
- Make sure that all model development related artifacts are produced, meet policy expectations, and are approved. This includes making sure that model documentation is up to date.
- Lead the model implementation or database implementation following best practice and retaining all tests evidence.
- Organize, as needed, model development panel or model performance and reporting forum.
- Liaise with stakeholders: model users, model validator, model risk lead and other providers and reviewers.
- Lead model development projects.
- Organize development, performance and reporting fora.
- Conduct stakeholder engagement across departments.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- University degree in a quantitative or technical field.
- Very good understanding of statistics, optimization and simulation.
- Minimum 4 years of risk analysis experience, including model development.
- Ability to take accountability of your own and others work.
- Strong database and coding experience, preferably in Python.
- Interest and some experience in data visualisation.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 15458 PLN – 22,000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
