Your career opportunity
A global role within Private Bank (PB) COO with functional and entity reporting to Head of WPS&PB Poland department, with activities functionally aligned to Ops Efficiency Lead. This is a key function within the central CAO team and the job holder will be supporting the PB&WPS GSC Operational Efficiency as well as related key strategic and operational initiatives such as Migrations/Offshoring, Hiring & Cost/FTE management.
What you’ll do
- Act as the SME for PB and support end-to-end delivery of offshoring initiatives, including hiring activities and recharging mechanism to ensure that stakeholders expectations are met within the required timelines,
- Co-ordinate with onshore process owners to agree the migration roadmap and drive implementation,
- Ensure job postings and hiring quality meet business requirements and HSBC standards,
- Partner with the Migrations & Capacity Management (MCM) team to complete mandatory key governance and control requirements (e.g., data sharing, Compliance and Outsourcing assessments, IGSA/offshoring contracts, IT and BCIM arrangements, charging methodology),
- Track actions, milestones, and timelines to achieve Go Live and BAU dates; escalate delays and risks early and drive resolution,
- Participate in governance forums, manage stakeholder expectations professionally, and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process optimisation,
- Provide business management support for the GSC team and contribute to change delivery initiatives,
- Define and support implementation of organisational structure management initiatives.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking with a major global bank or a top-tier management consulting firm (Private Banking experience preferred),
- Strong knowledge of capacity management processes, including FRP and recharge mechanisms,
- Proven experience in managing migration initiatives,
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and networking skills,
- Understanding of organisational design principles and related initiatives,
- Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and external parties to leverage organisational design expertise and deliver outcomes.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 12975 PLN – 17125 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
