Your career opportunity
In this role you will support the HCIB FR Remediation Lead to deliver the programme outcomes. The role requires excellent understanding of the controllership processes, ability to collaborate with others to solve problems, clear communication and extensive interaction with senior stakeholders across Finance and Risk on a regular basis.
What you’ll do
- Review all initiatives inflight and participate in designing “to be initiated" to remediate Financial Reporting risks in HCIB.
- Work closely with a range of teams (including external Consultant) to ensure program objectives are clearly defined.
- Provide SME expertise where required across a range of tasks according to the programme needs including managing issues as they arise, coordinating across different teams, ensure activity is prioritised and decisions understood, input into briefing papers and updates for a range of forums.
- Participate and provide inputs in product-based reviews that provide an end-to-end process view of trade booking to financial disclosures with an aim to validate existing / identify new risks to financial reporting, identify root causes that lead to them and propose solutions to eliminate or remediate.
- Represent Controllership teams in programmes that will impact financial reporting risks - these may include projects within Finance (PC Remediation, Subledger) or business led (e.g. in MSS).
- Review and challenge on issues arising as remediation progresses to ensure they are addressed and resolved i.e.. that an effective feedback loop is in place.
- Engage in discussions to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support for CIB / HCIB prioritisation and resolution of blockers.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Strong experience and knowledge of the controllership processes.
- Significant experience and knowledge of Financial Reporting, Process & Controls and/or a clear aptitude and desire to learn.
- Understanding of Finance and Risk operating model, processes, systems and data flows at Group, Business and Country level.
- Relevant knowledge of the Group’s Finance, Risk and IT functions in multiple locations.
- Exceptional drive, motivation and commitment and focus on operational excellence.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same time.
- Capability to solve complex problems, initiative to spot improvements and highly collaborative.
- Accounting Qualification with 7+ years of work experience.
What we offer
The pay range for this role is 20 133 PLN - 30 191 PLN (monthly, gross).
Additional car allowance in the amount of 4620 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
