The Global Procurement Architecture Lead is responsible for all business architecture, and adherence to group architecture practices within an HSBC business area. Within Procurement, the strategy is to simplify the architecture roadmap and reduce the number of local processes, which the Architect will be responsible for driving.

What you’ll do
    • Define, maintain and own the business architecture for an allocated Programme or business area ensuring compliance with group strategy, standards, and policies.
    • Ensure complete join-up between the business, the central Business Architiecture practice and technology architecture with respect to an allocated Programme or business area.
    • Input to the future direction and ways of working for Group Business Architecture.
    • Lead and own the development and implementation of architecture strategy and standards for an allocated Programme or business area.
    • Introduce new practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.
    • Support the business to define a coherent change portfolio that enables delivery of an allocated Programme or business area strategies and then decomposing the portfolio into requirements that can be delivered.
    • Stay abreast of business and archtiecture trends and advise the business about potential benefits/impacts.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of defining, implementing and leading Business change preferbly (not mandatory) in the fincancial services industries.
    • Experienced in defining/designing large scale change. Technology transformation experience of global deployments in a banking environment.
    • People leadership experience. Ability to drive culture change and engagement.
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including boards/senior executive management.
    • Ability to develop new and adapt existing processes for increased quality and efficiency whilst encouraging others to seek new ideas/solutions to day to day problems. 
    • Experience working in across breadth of architecture covering Business, Application, Data, Technology architecture domains across a complex domain.
    • Relationships - Global Businesses & Global Functions COOs; Other DCOO Function Heads; Key partnerships with Strategic Vendors.
    • Strategic Importance - High: Champion the development and implementation of HSBC’s Business Architecture on behalf of Global Business/Global Functions COOs & Heads of IT.
    • Regulatory & Risk - Sustains a risk-aware culture across all Global Businesses and Global Functions in their allocated region through design processes and governance mechanisms. Communicates changes in architecture policy and governance effectively.

What we offer
The pay range for this role is 20,130 PLN - 26,000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Additional car allowance in the amount of 4,786  PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
