The IT Service Owner (ITSO) is responsible for the ongoing supply and support of the IT services owned and provide a single point of contact for those services in line with standard IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Lifecycle phases, namely Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement. The role gives the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of controls, governance, tasks and Technology experts.


What you’ll do
    • Be accountable for maintaining effective control of the end-to-end application, service and infrastructure.
    • Successful operation and continuous improvement of services.
    • Adhering to governance processes and ensuring compliance with all FIM requirements, IT Controls & processes.
    • Pro-active planning of service requirements (e.g. Evergreening, capacity upgrades, demand and business growth).
    • Proactively managing delivery, execution and maintenance of IT Control tasks within the allocated timeline. Gathering the resources required for tasks, coordinating & escalating where necessary.
    • Be a contact or escalation point when tasks for assigned services are requested by stakeholders and other functions.
    • Collaborate with Cross-functional teams such as other Services Owners; POD Team Members; Risk & Control Officers; SSP Leads and Group such as Cyber Security.
    • Regular review of inventory tools to maintain service and application information.
    • Stay up to date and speed with changing requirements and processes for IT Control and Governance and act as a source of information to other colleagues.


What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • At least 5 years’ experience working in either IT Service Management or Infrastructure/ Software support or Project Management area.
    • Very good knowledge of ITIL methodologies mostly in the area of SLM, Service Continuity, Information Security Management, Change Management.
    • Must have previous experience in added-value initiatives and be able to demonstrate it.
    • Strong experience in IT Control, Governance and Compliance.
    • Ability to negotiate, lead conversations, prepare and present during meetings to senior leadership.
    • Can-Do attitude where no task is too small or big and able to work with minimum guidance. A team player who is open to share knowledge, learn from others and adaptable to change. Ability to build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders and colleagues.
    • Good knowledge of IT technologies, their components and their operational environments. Good knowledge of Windows, Linux or Database such as Oracle.
    • Strong communication skills in English is a must.


Nice to have 
    • Communicative German and or French.
    • ITIL v4, Project Management (PRINCE2/ PMP), Network or any IT related certificate.
