Product Control (PC) Analytics is a group within Global Markets Finance with representation in London, Kraków, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai. PC Analytics is a centralised specialist quantitative team dedicated to implementation and refinement of fair value adjustment methodologies, development and support of quantitative tools to enhance the control framework for Product Control, Market Risk Management and the business, ensuring methodologies are compliant with new regulations. The candidate will be joining a team of experienced quantitative analytics professionals with deep subject matter expertise.
What you’ll do
- Build python infrastructure for Stress Testing engine, as a part of TWD (Trading activity wind down) regulatory programme.
- Develop fasade layer between PC Analytics Stress Testing shock engine (python) and IT services, implemented as a WebAPI interface.
- Implement WebAPI connectors to internal data sources.
- Keep up to high standards of code clarity and robustness, meeting the governance requirements.
- Delivery of working solutions within strict timelines of the project.
- Close cooperation with the rest of PC Analytics and Valuations teams, composed of mathematicians and financial experts.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Knowledge of Python language, experience in Python production code development.
- Understanding of essential mathematical concepts.
- Readiness to work in a challenging environment of highly specialised financial mathematician.
- Familiarity with GitHub.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
