Financial Crime IT department is responsible for identifying, analysing and investigating financial crime risks, and ensuring that these risks are properly mitigated within HSBC. The aim of the project is to create a secure and scalable platform that utilises generative AI to automatically generate concise, accurate insights, empowering investigators to quickly assess relevant information, identify suspicious patterns, and accelerate investigations.  

We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master to join our team. 

• Take part in the delivery of the programme as part of  Enterprise Technology Risk & Compliance IT.

• Work closely with various stakeholders located in different places in the world.

• Work closely with the Product Owner – accepting completed tasks and prioritizing planned work.

• Ensure the sprint deliveries are undertaken in line with the business

• Facilitate Scrum events

• Provide guidance on Scrum process

• Help with continuous improvement (making sure retrospective action points are implemented)

• Build and maintaining good working relationship with all the team members

• Basic technical knowledge about Software and Software delivery process. 

• Project management skills and experience in Agile environment

• At least 2-year experience as a SM

• Examples of the successful delivery of the projects on time

• Stakeholder management experience

• Experience in working with remote teams, good communication skills (verbal, written)

• Capable to work on daily basis in English

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills (ability to explain complex ideas)

• Highly motivated and able to work independently, under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines

• Positive, proactive and can-do attitude

• Prior working experience of delivering Cloud solutions (GCP/AWS/Azure) is preferred but not required.

• Prior working experience of financial services is preferred but not required

• Coaching skills

• Scrum master certificate would be a plus
