  • The Integrity of Regulatory Reporting Programme (IRR) objective is to ensure end to end prudential regulatory reporting processes are uplifted to meet regulatory expectations. The programme is led by Finance but has cross-functional representation.
  • A remediation plan is being mobilised to deliver uplift in regulatory reporting through Risk and Finance Strategic Programmes. IRR will also deliver change through a direct book of remediation work to uplift processes and outcomes that will be delivered by in-flight strategic programmes.

The Opportunity:

  • The role holder will play a key part in the IRR Central Cost & Headcount team focusing on enabling seamless management and oversight of third party consultancy spend, ensuring all requirements are implemented consistently across the IRR Programme.

What you’ll do:

  • Supporting the IRR Central Team focusing mainly on consultancy, being the liaison between workstream leads, external service providers, procurement, accounts payable and senior stakeholders within the IRR Programme.
  • Manage IRR Consultancy engagements (end-to-end); accurate forecasting, tracking actuals against invoices, review of extensions and proactively manage new engagements.
  • Track all IRR SoW’s, ensure they are aligned to forecast/budget and CAP approval amounts, and maintain a comprehensive SoW tracker.
  • Responsible for raising all Consultancy Approval Board & hiring consultancy requests in the system and tracking them through to approved status.
  • Raise relevant Procurement Service Request and follow through to completion and then raising all IRR Group entity Purchase Orders in Fusion.
  • Manage invoicing for IRR consultants; seeking approvals from engagement leads, receipt in Fusion and resolving billing queries from suppliers.
  • Own the onboarding/offboarding process of IRR consultants globally.
  • Responsible for managing the ad hoc requests related to headcount and consultancy.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Excellent communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, presentations).
  • Proven senior stakeholder management skills, interaction with large number of stakeholders of all levels of seniority across the bank is essential.
  • Previous experience of consultancy management; knowledge of procurement processes, obtaining Consultancy Approval Board , hiring requests and Purchase Order management/tracking in Fusion is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of organizational planning, resource mobilization and problem solving.
  • Strong track record of working in a complex business change Programme across a global, regional and local structure would be advantageous.
  • Be able to act quickly and complete deliverables timely in a faced-paced environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Previous experience working in a cost & headcount governance focused role is essential.
  • Experienced with documentation management and quality assurance, excellent MS Power point and MS Excel skills and high attention to detail.
