As an NRI Product Manager, he / she will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and engagement of our Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customer base. He/ she will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive strategy to acquire, retain, and deepen relationships with NRI customers across various product lines.

Principal responsibilities

  • Marketing and Branding - Work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling content and creative assets to attract new NRI customers and strengthen brand recall among existing ones
  • Customer Lifecycle Management -  Develop and execute a multi-channel communication strategy to engage NRI customers throughout their lifecycle, from onboarding to retention and Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and loyalty through personalized interactions
  • Emerging Affluent Segment -  Manage and nurture the emerging affluent NRI segment 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration -  Collaborate with various stakeholders, including risk and compliance, sales network, marketing, proposition, data and analytics, and product managers of cross-sell products

Allied responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate professional and confident representation of Business Head’s office, eg including prompt action with telephone/email responses
  • Written communications skills - Ensure written communication is accurate, clear and concise, paying attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of the Travel & Hotel policy, ensuring appropriate appoval process adopted with the approver
  • Ensuring cost efficient routes are consistently used whilst following the out of policy guidelines
  • Consistent and accurate completion of Travel Approval forms
  • Demonstrate commitment to collaboration and cooperative working, assisting the teammates & ensuring trainings, leave planning & surveys are completed in a timely manner
  • Noting Minutes of the team meetings, collating & Maintaining actionable trackers and regular follow ups, including actionable from Business Head’s branch visits
  • Ensuring submission deadlines are met for various recognition programmes i.e. Dynamo, AOB, tracking training completion for the team etc
  • Prepare accurate & timely reconciliations of corporate expenses within one month of receipt
  • Managing comprehensive diaries in a timely & meticulous manner, Setting up meetings across various time zones, setting up weekly/monthly team meetings
  • Providing administrative support to Staff coming from Overseas (assisting them with travel, setting up meetings with internal/external stakeholders, & team lunches & social dinners)
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in banking industry
  • Strong understanding of NRI banking products and services
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating

Eligibility Criteria

  • India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion
  • Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
  • INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework
