The International Relationship Manager role has been created as a result of the creation of the Wealth Centre and the Wealth Model Transformation (WMT) program. The role is initially focused on International clients with Total Relationship Balances of between £1.5m and £4m, however the role holder will be expected to grow their knowledge of the wider Private Banking business with a view to managing portfolios with higher value and potentially more complex clients in the future. Target portfolio loading is 150 client relationships with complex banking, lending and investment needs with HSBC
In this role you will:
- Provide an outstanding client experience in line with the demanding expectations of this International client segment.
- Maintain and grow profitable long-term relationships with existing clients whilst sourcing and onboarding new to bank clients from within the agreed referral channels.
- Support the wider International team in the overall achievement of common financial objectives
- Deepen client relationships whilst improving portfolio income generation.
- Once authorized, provide simple financial planning and investment advice.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- CISI or RDR Level 4 qualified - desirable
- Experience of managing client relationships within the East Asian client segment either within a Wealth Management or Private Banking context - essential
- Effective communication skills. Specifically fluency in Mandarin is essential, and Cantonese is desirable.
- Working knowledge of KYC & CDD regulations - essential
- A demonstrable understanding of the range of banking, lending and wealth solutions available to clients in this segment - essential
