We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior consultant specialist

Department - Enterprise Technology 

In this role, you will:

Technical Skills:

  • Installing and upgrading VERITAS Cluster Server

  • Configuring LLT, GAB and main.cf

  • Managing resources and service groups

  • Managing failover or parallel service group

  • Monitoring agents for application resources 

  • Creating Logical Volumes and Disk groups

  • Managing Volumes and Plexes with offline and online

  • Creating File systems on volumes (VXFS / UFS)

  • Resizing the volume and file systems

  • To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

     

     

    Experince IN

  • Unix System Administrator and Cloud Administration with 16 + years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management and System Administration specifically in Linux, Solaris Operation systems.

  • Insightful knowledge in server administration

  • Set up an RPM Build Environment and RPM package management in RHEL/ CentOS

  • Experience on patching up Unix/Linux servers and decommissioning legacy servers to make the client environment more authentic and cost-effective.

  • Good knowledge in Shell scripting, automatic daily tasks like Filesystem checks, network interface checks and service failures.

  • Basic knowledge on Oracle Database

  • Basic Knowledge on Google Cloud Platform (GCE,CloudStorage, GKE , Docker an).

  • Handle patching and package management (YUM), Kernal patching and packaging of Red Hat Linux.

  • Good Knowledge in Red Hat Logical Volume Manager.

  • Good Knowledge in Red Hat PCS Cluster.

  • Good Knowledge in Veritas Volume Manager.

  • Good Knowledge in Veritas Cluster.

  • Experienced in installing, configuring and monitoring Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) in High Availability Environment.

  • Extensively involved in administering and configuring SAN and NAS Devices and other Storage solutions like Power Path, Native Multipathing and Veritas DMP.

  • Good Hardware knowledge on HP and DELL servers

  • Increasing the Max numbers of LUN’s visible to server on RHEL

  • Adding ASM disks on oracle RAC clusters in Physical and Virtual servers

  • Configuring and Administration of network bonding in Linux.

  • Experience on Memory Management, Network Management, performance Monitoring and Kernal parameters Tunning in RHEL

  • Worked on Vendor calls with Red hat for Software and Hardware issues.

  • Installation of Splunk/ CrowdStrike / Qualys on RHEL

  • Creation of filesystems on Red Hat for Database and applications
