GPS Ops provides various spectrum of GPS operations to our clients, ambitioned to improve customer and colleague experience, support revenue generation and improve controls and resilience through collaboration.  

The Opportunity:  

AMH GPS Pricing and Billing team supports HSBC HK GPS business for Pricing and Billing BAU Controls. And closely with GPS sales, Implementation and P&B team with pricing approval and offer validation, setup quality check, pricing review and MI generation/reporting.   

What you’ll do:     

• Ensures smooth operations in GPS Operations, which meets the target cut-off time of both internal/external regulatory requirement and agreed service levels with Line of Business.

• Handles any exceptions and completes the daily operations within a critical time window despite volume fluctuation.

• Solves the problems arising from the operations and manages the incidents, which may affect the operations, effectively and escalate to management in a timely manner.

• Provides accurate MI for billing, management reporting etc. in a timely manner and analyzes the MI reports to spot out underperforming areas.

• Supports the management and mitigation of operational risk by identification, assessment, mitigation and control of operational risk of cheque processes

• Supports the planning and execution of business continuity and contingency plans and performs regular contingency drill exercises in accordance with HSBC and regulatory requirements.

• Ensures the operations are compliant to HSBC risk policies and procedure, regulatory standard and audit requirement and fulfills all control requirement via continuous review of working procedures.

• Supports all streamlining initiatives / projects from planning to implementation.

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

• Experience in banking or financial institutions.

• Proven job knowledge on GPS or GPS Ops.

• Knowledge of data and system analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience of managing resources using appropriate communication, delegation and planning skills

• Ability to manage timelines and individuals with pressures and make time critical decision

• Excellent communicator, resourceful, able to work independently and in a team

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.   

What additional skills will be good to have?     

• Experience in managing project and change management skills

• Ability to motivate and lead people, employing appropriate management styles

• Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective

• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors.
