We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager Business Marketing.

Principal Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketer to support the execution of marketing campaigns and projects across product areas within the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division. This includes Transaction Banking, Markets, Securities Services, and Financing.

As a vital member of the marketing team, you will assist in implementing go-to-market strategies for CIB products and solutions. You will work closely with products, Coverage, client segment and sector marketing leads to ensure that marketing efforts align with product positioning and client needs.

This role plays a supportive part in the bank’s growth agenda by ensuring our products and services are effectively communicated and differentiated in a competitive market.

Leveraging your product knowledge, you will collaborate with the business and marketing teams to improve client engagement and contribute to delivering an outstanding client experience with HSBC products. Your role will support efforts in strengthening client relationships by assisting in deal origination, increasing market share, and enhancing fee income.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)

In this role you will

  • Campaign and Project Execution
    • Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns for CIB products and services
    • Help translate product capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and industry trends
    • Collaborate with Product, Coverage, and Client Strategy teams to support product innovation and commercialization efforts
  • Go-to-Market Support
    • Support the implementation of go-to-market plans for new and enhanced CIB products and platforms
    • Work with sector and segment marketing leads to ensure cohesive execution aligned with client priorities across industries and geographies
    • Assist in developing messaging frameworks and creating collateral, pitch decks, and client presentations
  • Content and Campaign Management
    • Contribute to the development of insight-led content (whitepapers, product briefs, case studies, digital assets) to highlight the bank’s product strengths
    • Support targeted campaigns to drive product adoption and pipeline growth
    • Collaborate with global communications and brand teams to enhance visibility around key themes such as ESG and digital transformation
  • Performance & Insights
    • Assist in establishing KPIs to track marketing effectiveness, lead generation, and business impact
    • Support targeted campaigns to drive new deal origination, increasing wallet share and penetration and growing fee income
    • Use data and client insights to help optimize positioning and campaign performance
    • Support the advocacy for the voice of the client and market trends in shaping marketing strategies
    • Strong collaboration across all business lines including UK and HK teams
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Extensive years of experience in B2B financial services marketing, with a focus on product marketing and/or banking experience within a global banking environment
  • Good understanding of banking products and services
  • Experience in supporting go-to-market strategies that enhance product and client engagement
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience in matrixed, global organizations
  • Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; further education in Marketing, Finance, or related field is a plus
