We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Subject Matter Expert and Project Implementation.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Lead Digital Servicing initiatives, review and approve system solutions and artifacts and ensure there are sufficient acceptance from business teams as well as other key stakeholders
  • Manage operational streaming projects to improve operational processes and ensure that the projects are delivered according to plan, and relevant improvement objectives are met
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive business requirements for Insurance Operation teams in a timely manner
  • Review system solutions and ensure they could meet business needs and are fit-for-purpose
  • Prepare and review of forms and customer communication including email, SMS and letters
  • Propose/support manual workarounds when system solution has yet to be available
  • Prepare briefing / communication to the BAU teams – New Business, Policy Servicing and Customer Service for the rollout of process and system changes
  • Comply to legal/regulatory requirements and HSBC standards in the implementation of projects
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Prior experience in life operation administration or business analysis, with supervisory/managerial experience within life insurance industry
  • Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Good technical and product knowledge in Insurance
  • Pro-active, self-driven; good inter-personal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Good communication and writing skills in English and Chinese
