We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager Wealth Investment Sales Support.

Principal Responsibilities

The Sales Support role is responsible for providing direct support to Sales Managers, distribution teams and sales teams. The role provides support to help meet asset growth, sales quality and increase market share. The remit may range from a small geographic area to a global area and may be located, in a retail branch, contact centre or a central office location.

In this role you will 

  • Be responsible for providing direct support to Head of Wealth INV Sales, Wealth INV PE Head and Senior Wealth Investment Sales Manager, delivering high quality sales service to customer base
  • Be responsible for providing business insight
  • Assist the team in the efficient marketing of products to their client base and in achieving both Financial and Qualitative annual objectives
  • Use knowledge of products, processes and procedures to address customer needs both through the team and individually
  • Support and manage frontline colleagues to deliver service to customers at first point of contact through the reduction of operational requirements  
  • Follow guidance on transactions and ensure that all work is processed in accordance with the established and documented procedures
  • Continually evaluate processes and procedures to support improved efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Responsible for enforcing sales guidelines and sales compliance, monitoring of sales process, and conducting quality control checking 
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • University degree with honours in economics, finance, business, mathematics or a related discipline
  • Solid relationship manager or product specialist experiences in either retail or private or investment banks or fund houses with a focus on the distribution of wealth investment products
  • Strong relationship management, communication and negotiation skills, and sales capability in client servicing to manage the consultative sales process and provide needs-based solutions and with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Capability to demonstrate a forward-looking mindset in the analysis of financial markets and development of market insights
  • Proven track record of conducting detailed portfolio analysis and management to capture wealth investment opportunities
  • Deep knowledge of specific complex financial solutions and products including the knowledge of financial markets, socioeconomic dynamics, and regulatory requirements relevant to the products
  • Fluent written and verbal English and Cantonese language skills, as well as a communicative level of Mandarin Specialisation in one or more product categories e.g. Unit Trust/Structured Products/FX/Bond/Wealth Lending/Financing Planning
  • A solid understanding of local and Group compliance regulations, customer due diligence, portfolio risk identification, and global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards
