Within MSS Operations IT this role is for ASSET SERVICES IT team, which supports multiple applications for Corporate Actions processing.
We are looking for a senior experienced Technocrat to join our existing team to contribute in terms of leading the AS IT Technical team to help manage the ASSET SERVICES IT project, maintenance and RTB items. 

In this role, you will:

•    Working as a POD Lead to help deliver Stories / Tasks and involved in providing the technical Support in Production tickets / Incidents on rota basis
•    Understand project requirements and develop design specifications as per business agreements
•    Design, code, and maintain the systems based on established standards.
•    Perform initial design reviews and recommend tactical as well as strategic improvements based on programme requirements.
•    Work independently with minimal supervision, closely collaborating with other solution architects, business analysts and project managers.
•    Write clear codes and prepare coding documentations as per project requirements.
•    Under DevOps initiative carry out in system integration and acceptance testing and perform bug fixes for production readiness.
•    Identify performance optimization area within the application & modify existing codes to optimize SQL applications within the agreed design framework.
•    Analyse and troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner followed up with Root cause analysis documentation.
•    Identify opportunities for innovation within the architecture in support of the business & technology strategies
•    Follow all relevant IT policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
•    Provide out of hours support to the production batch with a focus on SQL and performance tuning
•    Delivering valuable working software to the business with a constant focus on technical process improvement.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Experience of design, development and support of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 database 
•    Extensive experience in T-SQL stored procedures, queries and indexes.
•    Experience with SSIS package development.
•    PL/SQL development & MS SQL Server development techniques preferably in banking domain
•    Strong Exposure to PL/SQL and strong knowledge of SQL
•    Strong experience in query writing, interpreting PL/SQL.
•    Extensive experience in Version control software, JIRA, confluence.
•    Should have experience in designing/developing micro services pattern. 
•    Strong communication stills, and experience of interacting with business teams.
•    Should be able to Lead technical team independently.
•    Has worked in a Banking environment and understands the Finance Domain.
•    Understanding of full project life cycle; design, development, test, release and support procedures.

Requirements (Desired):

•    Experience in investigating and tuning performance issues.
•    Knowledge of batch processing systems/tools (Control-M, Choreographer, Airflow) 
•    Front to back Project Delivery Experience, especially in Agile.
•    Fair understanding of DevOps concepts.
•    Good to have experience in script generation UNIX , PowerShell.
