We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Red Team Manager.
 
As part of Cybersecurity Offensive Security function, the Red Team are responsible conducting and managing several Regulatory Threat Led Penetration Tests (TLPTs) a year across multiple jurisdictions.
 
The role holder will be responsible for managing and overseeing these Regulatory TLPT engagements from the organisations “control group manager” role; this includes handling internal/external stakeholders, ensuring coherent scoping, defining objectives and directing a delivery approach that minimises operational risk while enabling learnings that benefit the organisation.
 
This individual will support growth, development and engagement of the Red Team, being innovative to ensure the function are industry leaders who challenge the current landscape. Using threat intelligence to drive a range of complex globally significant engagements, utilising a team of highly skilled close-knit red teamers. As well as build relationships and engage with a diverse set of stakeholders to achieve offensive security objectives.
 
The candidate will be expected to dedicate 40% of their time to management activities, with the rest of the 60% going towards technical work.

In this role you will be responsible for:
 
•    Observing/managing regulatory TLPTs (e.g. CBEST, TIBER, iCAST, CORIE, AASE),
•    Leading and developing services (e.g. Purple Teams, Attack Simulations),
•    Communicating technical concepts to non-technical/senior stakeholders,
•    Proactively identify business areas that require assessing, driving relationships with service owners/stakeholders,
•    Collaborative Purple Teams that build a strong positive rapport with the blue team,
•    Advocating novel attack simulation scenarios that will provide learning across multiple teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
 
•    Demonstrated experience in meeting red team regulatory requirements.
•    Experience in organising and running internal TLPTs, Purple Teams and Attack Simulations (from both a management and technical perspective),
•    Experience with any TLPT framework globally such as: CBEST, iCast, TIBER, CORIE, AASE
•    Strong, leadership and team building skills.
•    Ability to develop clear business impact and justification to drive investment in team capabilities
