The Opportunity:

  • The France Risk Transformation Team provides Key Business Insights, works on Small Changes & Enhancements, Monitoring of Production jobs and Adhoc Analysis for different France businesses – RCR, CMB, GRA, WCR. In addition, support the onshore RT team on audit findings which get submitted to the regulators in France (Bank of France, ECB).
  • Monitoring of the production process across different GBs/GFs.
  • Provide business insights and add value to existing reports using available information
  • Action oriented and on time reporting & analysis to meet customer expectations.
  • Provide consultancy services to various Unsecured and Secured Business
  • Closely work with business on Small Change and Enhancements to business processes
  • Addressing the production incidents which comes across and to resolve them in quick time
  • Support the onshore team in audit related work which get submitted to external regulators
  • Need to closely work with RT onshore team on long term projects

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for France RT deliverables with end to end report generation, report comprehension and data management of the France business. This information is used to facilitate strategy development by the Risk committees, board members, CRO and COOs for region, country and Group.
  • Use Group/Regional data source systems – SAS, SQL, Excel and data bases like DB2 and various data marts, for data cleaning, collation, auditing to produce strategic MI reports and to perform the necessary analysis to highlight key findings such as breaches from key risk parameters within Risk Strategy.
  • Along with delivery of reports with 100% quality and TAT, the most important responsibility is to inculcate process efficiency with automation and standardization, resulting in cost savings for the department.
  • Assist onshore team with creating standardized templates, testing and rolling out of the new report as per the business standards.
  • Primary responsibilities include data analysis, data auditing & validation, report development, report comprehension and project delivery.
  • Maintain adequate engagement of team members and continuously strive to improve quality & timeliness of team deliverables
  • Responsible for end-to-end project management and hands on delivery when required. He/she should ensure productivity and output of the team should fall in line with the stated SLAs. Monthly monitoring and review of all projects with stakeholders to ensure that all stated SLAs are met
  • Work with multiple customers/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
  • Manage relationship with key stakeholders in the Business (Onshore and Offshore) to build confidence in team and enable stakeholder’s investment in development of the team
  • Establish and maintain effective relationship with business areas and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism.
  • Drive Analytics wide initiatives such as Recruitment and Process-efficiency
  • Responsible for conceptualizing, designing and implementing QA/QC framework for identified processes and ensures adherence and constant improvement
  • Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with internal controls
Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • 2-3 years Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from reputed University with concentration on finance, economics or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with 2+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAS, SQL, Excel and other equivalent analytical tools is necessary. 
  • Experience/Knowledge in Retail Risk Unsecured/Secured Business is preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyze them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • All applicants must have successfully completed their probation period.
  • Employees must meet performance and behavioral standards as defined in the policy
  • All L6 and L7 applicants should have served at least 12 months and should have successfully completed respective learning curve tenure, in their current role as on closing date.
  • Applicant should not be on a corrective action plan/ disciplinary action in the last 6 months or any other performance action as on the date of application.
