We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business FCR Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • This senior manager role is to support ASP Head of WPB BFCR in managing FCR landscape and following are the key responsibilities and tasks
  • Support ASP markets in implementing AML and CDD policies & procedures and provide guidance
  • Drive the ongoing execution of FCR mitigation plans; support Global policy in updating, review and revised Line of Business Procedures based on regulatory, audit, and assurance requirements at market & global
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate potential Financial Crime Risk via engagement within first and second line
  • Ensure effective governance structures are in place to enable oversight, control and monitoring of strategy execution and implementation plans
  • Assist markets in navigating Audit, Compliance Assurance and External regulatory reviews by providing SME support on all matters relating to AML / CDD
  • Guiding markets on identifying risks and raising MSII / highlighting global MSII’s that need to link to
  • Proactively Identifying emerging risks in ASP relating to CDD and ensuring remedial action is taken as and when necessary
  • Collaborate with FC Compliance teams and frontline on investigations to manage live risk
  • Provide advisory services to WPB business in order to ensure clear understanding of compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, and products
  • Manage the relationship with first, second- and third-line diversified teams
  • Support relevant stakeholders to make decisions based on current and possible future policies, applicable local regulatory requirements and trends
Requirements
  • A university degree and minimum 15 years banking experiences of which 5 years or more in Financial Crime Risk domain highlighting a comprehensive understanding of Financial Crime Risk landscape in Asia Pacific markets
  • Demonstrates a wealth of experience in driving Financial Crime Risk Policy Implementation, Operations, transformation with a track record of successful outcomes
  • Exhibits experience with analytics, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrate proactive engagement and responsiveness in both internal and external audit reviews while effectively and skilfully tackling audit challenges.  Strong knowledge on WPB Products, Propositions, Systems, Onboarding Processes, and local regulatory requirements
  • Strong knowledge in AML & CDD Policy, Process and operations
  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of the HSBC Group structure, its business and personnel, and HSBC’s corporate culture
