WPB Retail products, Cards team is one of the key members of IWPB global business group to support Card systems/products in global market like Hong KONG/Macau/UK.  This role team provides a lot of different opportunities covering end to end Card product lifecycle e.g. Card Servicing, Card Origination, New Card products, Credit Compliance, Payment, Authorization, Settlement, Loan on cards and etc.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Specialist (SCS). The successful candidate will be given extensive training/support, opportunities to become technical/functional SME and leaders of the Cards area. It is a very challenging and rewarding role for anyone looking for advancing their career growth.

The Opportunity:

• Support Card management team to achieve set goals & strategy.
• Being the project and technical lead to lead complex project deliveries.
• Being a senior technical & functional lead/SME for Card domain areas.
• Support and protect production Card applications to ensure service stability & continuity.

What you’ll do:

• Work with Global product managers maintain the supply/demand planning to ensure the execution feasibility.
• Work as part of Card engineering team with responsibility for CTB (Change the bank) project delivery or ongoing RTB support areas.
• Collaborate with Global credit card domain SME to understand & feedback for the established development best practice & design/development principles.
• Work with Credit cards solution architects/SME to review end-to-end technical design to ensure the design quality.
• Lead engineers/developers to work on project delivery including the development, deployment with high quality on schedule and within budget.
• Review/Ensure the technical design/code structure is technically coherent and future proof and compliance with technology standards and regulatory obligations.
• Identify any issues that may arise to delivery risk, formulate preventive actions or corrective measures and timely escalate major project risks & issues to senior management.
• Provide professional consultancy/support immediately for application teams’ queries/requests including the resource estimation.
• Provide support to help on the whole card team productivity improvement including the DevOps/Agile strengthen and automation improvement within pipelines.

• Ability to understand the front to end processes including different product/business owners with related operations process quickly.
• Ability to identify the fast connect with systems components/domains with business terms.
• Ability to engage and influence senior business and functional stakeholders.
• Previous experience working in AS400 RPGLE project development, 8+ years will be preferred, able to lead/manage multiple projects/changes items with high delivery quality.
• Strong analytical skills required to perform in depth review of risk impact of change in existing business.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge constructively and effect change.
• Ability to coordinate cross-function teams to drive project execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders (technical/non-technical audiences).
• Familiar with workflow automation experience preferred and full stack resources e.g with experience on Java or python, VUE3, c/c++.
• Strong problem solving- and business acumen.
• Understanding of credit card domain knowledge will be preferred.
• High quality of programming skill.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• PMP/SCM/SAFe Certification will be preferred.
