The Opportunity:
As a Senior Consultant Specialist, you will play a pivotal role, leading in designing, developing, and implementing strategic software solutions that align with the bank’s architecture direction and business objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Solution Design & Development: Design and implement scalable, secure software solutions aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues by resolving complex technical issues and sharing best practices.
- Client Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver within agreed timelines.
- Agile & CI/CD Practices: Drive Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency and quality.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and database systems.
- Innovation & Modernization: Recommend and implement innovative technologies, including cloud solutions, to optimize systems.
Requirements
- To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on enterprise-level solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, C#. Strong knowledge of databases and hands-on experience with Cloud platforms like GCP, AWS. Solid experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. Extensive experience in Agile methodologies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in technical areas.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Cyber Security Awareness: Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will be considered a strong advantage:
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, along with a strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Certifications: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Certified Solutions Architect) or other technical areas.
- Global Collaboration: Experience working in cross-cultural or remote team environments.
- Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with banking systems, architecture, and strategic solution design.
