To support this vision, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to contribute to the delivery of highly resilient and scalable system, ensuring world-class reliability and performance for our systems.

The Opportunity: 

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will work closely with development teams to automate operations, improve observability, and enhance the stability of the International Customer Onboarding (ICO) platform and APIs. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering high-quality services aligned with business objectives and industry standards.

What youll do:  

  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to improve API performance, scalability, and latency.
  • Reliability Engineering: Build and maintain reliable systems by automating deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to ensure system availability.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Design and implement monitoring solutions to improve system observability, enabling proactive identification of issues.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated provisioning, and deployment processes to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration: Partner with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure system requirements align with reliability goals.
  • Governance: Provide oversight and governance for API changes, ensuring compliance with architecture standards, security protocols, and operational risk policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and incident reports to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in reliability engineering or software development.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, provisioning, and deployment.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., AppD, Splunk,).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese and mandarin.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Hands-on experience in project management.
  • Proven ability to work in global teams with diverse cultures.
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices for software system and cloud environments.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering technical content in internal or external conferences.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
