HSBC Markets & Securities Services IT (MSS IT) department provides leading technology solutions to support and empower its Markets and Securities Services business worldwide.  The AI Markets IT team is responsible for developing a range of Front Office applications to support and grow the FX derivative products throughout the bank. It covers quite a number of digitalize solution using latest marketing technology for electronic FX trading purpose where we are working in Agile model closely with business globally.

The Opportunity: 
As an AI Engineer in AI Markets team, you will work on some of the most ambitious and challenging FinTech problems. 
Be responsible for building and deploying ML models and support the delivery of AI solutions. Role will require hands on experience of AI / ML, especially on NLP, Multimodal Representation Learning, Gen AI / LLM etc.

What you’ll do:

• Day to Day project management of technical delivery Epics.
• Collation of requirements and ensuring these are aligned to business and technical milestones.
• Review Epics progress.
• Assisting with budget process.
• Day to Day running of key functional meetings.
• Understand business objectives and develop ML models that help to achieve them.
• Assisting with PSC and Working Group packs.

• Proactive self-starter able to take initiative and get things done with top-notch problem solving skills.
• Experience of handling FX or AI projects.
• FX, EM Rates,Fix Income, Equity product knowledge.
• Proven track record of dealing with key global stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing competing requirements.
• Ability to anticipate and resolve issues ahead of it happening.
• Strong organisational skills, focusing on delivery.
• Strong English language written and oral skills.
• Multi location and timezones as well as competing requirements.

• Multiple stakeholders and initiatives. The successful candidate will be required to align functional deliveries with technical strategy.
