Risk & Compliance delivers cutting-edge technology to protect the Bank and its customers from Financial Crime and to meet our various regulatory commitments. Our applications/services cover Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions & PEP Screening, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Regulatory and Tax Reporting and Risk Management. We operate in a 100% Agile environment and deliver change rapidly but with built-in quality and control – driving adoption of the latest technologies such as machine learning & AI, while ensuring that our databases, applications and environments are operating at the level of performance and reliability demanded by the Bank’s 40 million customers.

To better support FSA and Value stream transformation in Risk & Compliance IT, Platform team is setup as enabler to support value streams and service lines on engineering & architect alignments, providing sharable engineering artefacts, and make sure strategic goal can be achieved together, working closely with CTO while deliver business value in a proper way.

In this role you will:

·         Collaborate with stakeholders across business, architects, leadership team, service line heads to deliver sharable engineering artifacts.

·         Work with Tech PO and Tech lead to shape the scope and convert it to tangible items

·         Collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) who are responsible for delivering HSBC baseline cloud architecture

·         Collaborate with service lines to co-design and set up common standards and practice, to avoid duplicated technical artifacts.

·         Ensure DevSecOps capabilities are built in as part of the solution

·         Ensure solution aligns with FSA.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·         Solid knowledge and proven hands-on experiences in below techniques / practices:

o    Experience of migration to GCP and integration projects on large scale environment

o    Experience working with Kubernetes, Dockers, Storage, Cloud Functions

o    Experience to perform data analysis, on Databases (SQL, no-SQL, DBT)

o    CI/CD pipelines

o    Java, springboot & spring cloud, Zuul gateway

o    Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

o    DevSecOps principles & automation (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub)

This role is based in Sheffield and offers hybrid working.
