The Senior Executive Assistant provide secretarial/administrative support. Role holder will exercise confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy skills and will have sufficient expertise in their area to deputise for their superior and/or actively participate in some meetings.

May also oversee small projects and have minor decision making authority/autonomy.

As our Senior Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Organize schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel, and accommodation
  • Co-ordinate activities, events, resources, meetings, services, and managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Support administration, composing presentations, drafting reports, and assisting with key documents such as business plans
  • Manage external relationships and service providers
  • Be a gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for an area
  • Adhere to HSBC policies and maintain confidentiality on sensitive activities in the remit area

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $81,000.00 and $128,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Minimum of five years proven and progressive secretarial or administrative experience or equivalent
  • Associates degree in business, related field or equivalent experience 
  • Strong keyboard, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and common software packages 
  • Demonstrated ability to create and produce presentations and reports, as well as handle small scale projects independently 
  • Ability to resource services, complete necessary follow up, and provide timely and effective communication for problem resolution
  • Ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a courteous and efficient manner and exercise discretion on confidential matters 
  • Knowledge of Company policies and practices and/or demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to the Company’s Risk Management Framework and operating model
