We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Internal Communications Manager, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB).

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, CIB, the role holder will be responsible for developing and managing impactful, creative and insight-led internal communications strategies and formats that support the strategic priorities of HSBC’s CIB business to strengthen both employee advocacy and engagement.

The role holder should have a strong track-record in internal communications, with exceptional storytelling, content development and writing skills, as well as the desire to constantly build new capabilities and enhance their knowledge. They will need to develop and act upon measurement and employee insight as well as quickly build trusted stakeholder relationships.

In this role you will:

•    Develop internal communications strategies that support CIB’s business priorities and growth opportunities, including leading on the planning and delivery of creative internal communications campaigns. 
•    Provide support to senior business leaders in CIB across multiple channels, including internal events, videos, communities and email communications.
•    Provide high quality change communications support for strategic CIB-wide business transformation initiatives.
•    Partner closely with the CIB People team to develop strategic communications plans to support the CIB people plan and position CIB as an employer of choice, internally and externally.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives.
•    Ability to understand business issues and devise communication solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues.
•    Able to work within a complex environment, prioritise and reconcile competing demands, and swiftly resolve issues.
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
•    A proven track record in developing, managing and implementing internal communication plans that translate into solid and practical delivery.

This role is based in London on a hybrid basis.
