We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager Business Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives

  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and automation

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria; collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure seamless ingestion of data from multiple sources into a single data repository

  • Analyse data ingestion processes, identify improvements, and work closely with technology teams to implement robust data ingestion solutions; ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the ingestion process

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the objectives and scope for machine learning requirements suitable for NFR management

  • Work closely with data scientists and analytics teams to analyse complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to non-financial risk; and to develop predictive models and algorithms to assess and mitigate non-financial risk

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design actionable recommendations and process flow to enable timely and effective risk management interventions

  • Analyse current NFR controls, identify areas for improvement, and work closely with technology teams to implement necessary changes; monitor the effectiveness of controls and provide insights for continuous improvement

Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, Experience on consulting and/or risk management is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of non-financial risk management in wholesale banking. - Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with experience in advanced analytics and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex data sets. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in non-financial risk management is highly desirable
