Technology teams in the UK work closely with our global businesses to help design and build digital services that allow our millions of customers around the world, to bank quickly, simply and securely. They also run and manage our IT infrastructure, data centres and core banking systems that power the world’s leading international bank. Our multi-disciplined teams include DevOps Engineers, IT Architects, Front and Back End Developers, Infrastructure specialists, Cyber experts, as well as Project and Programme managers.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Full product lifecycle management for load balancing technologies.
  • Design, develop and test for automation workflows and pipelines.
  • Support and maintenance of platform and automation.
  • Creation of technical and functional documentation/JIRA tasks etc.
  • Out of hours working including planned change activity and on-call
Requirements

Key Skills

·       Deep knowledge of F5 products, specifically LTM, AWAF modules and NGINX.

·       Strong troubleshooting capabilities using tooling such as SevOne, Splunk and NNMi.

·       Previous experience of automation with F5 products, including the use of AS3, along with experience of using Git Hub, Jenkins & Jira.

·       Good understanding of networks, networking concepts and DNS, routing and switching and firewalls.

·       Coding skills in Python and Ansible, not essential, but would be helpful.

·       Previous knowledge deploying to AWS, not essential, but would be helpful.

·       Working experience of Agile methodologies including Scrum.

·       Creation of technical and functional documentation/JIRA tasks etc.

·       Ability to interpret user requirements to meet technical development needs and interpreting technical development needs/questions into user friendly communication.
