The role of a Senior Project Manager in Client Implementation is pivotal in shaping global and local client relationships by leading a team to manage multiple payments and liquidity projects to successful completion. You’ll lead the charge in onboarding clients onto our channels and solutions, ensuring seamless transitions and driving satisfaction, and will relationship manage several top tier clients.

As our Senior Project Manager, Client Implementation you will:

  • Provide pre-mandate and Request for Information / Request for Proposal (RFI/RFP) consultation and project management expertise for our diverse client base, utilizing your deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge of Payments, Liquidity, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Regulatory Solutions

  • Streamline documentation processes using tools like Governance & Document Controls (GDCs) to ensure accurate and timely delivery, minimizing friction

  • Employ proactive project management methodologies and utilize our scalable organizational design to manage multiple complex and global client projects effectively

  • Serve as the central liaison between internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions, effectively communicating with clients and senior stakeholders

  • Take ownership of client relationships post-sales, leading client communication throughout the project lifecycle and beyond

  • Ensure every client is able to operate their accounts and services as expected, and project expectations are met before a project is completed

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our Net Promoter Score, providing valuable feedback to Product to improve client experience

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, including Legal, Operations, Information Technology (IT), Sales, and Product, to optimize internal processes and project delivery

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in payments products and technology, as well as act as a role model and escalation point for the team, providing training, support and guidance

  • Drive the strategic priorities of the Global Payments Solutions (GPS) business, promoting a positive culture by maintaining a balanced approach to work and life, even when under pressure

    For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,400.00 and $150,600.00

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Extensive experience in building effective client relationships and stakeholder management

  • Proficiency in payments and liquidity product knowledge

  • Previous project management experience and/or relevant qualifications

  • Familiarity with design thinking principles

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively in real-time

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Proven ability to excel under pressure and drive strategic initiatives forward

  • Drive project timelines to achieve optimal time to revenue, focusing on high revenue/strategic clients

  • Represent HSBC at Industry Events, help position HSBC as a top provider of treasury management services

  • Simplify and challenge existing processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our Net Promoter Score
