We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager, Client Integration.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple complex projects to on-board clients to HSBC Digital Channels (HSBCnet, Treasury API, H2H and SwiftNet); Proactively identify and highlight technical blockers that may affect a successful implementation to maintain a best-in-class customer experience
- Keep on top of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in payment regulations to support your technical testing knowledge and problem-solving capabilities; Maintain a strong understanding of both the wider financial and technical environment of the client's business
- Drive the strategic priorities of the GPS business, promoting a positive culture by maintaining a balanced approach to work and life, even when under pressure; Contribute to technical client workshops to understand and support their business automation goals
- Support pre-mandate and RFI/RFP requests, providing technical expertise to develop appropriate solutions and proposals; Cultivate and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their business needs, and ensuring satisfaction with the onboarding process
- Communicate with stakeholders at a country, regional and global level; ensure effective internal and external communication with sharing of project status, risks, and issues. Serve as liaison between Client Service and Sales, Coverage, Product and IT
- Manage a varied portfolio of complex, global integration projects, including piloting new products/services offered by GPS; Drive project timelines to achieve optimal time to revenue, focusing on high revenue/strategic clients
- Represent HSBC at Industry Events, help position HSBC as a top provider of treasury management services; Simplify and challenge existing processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our Net Promoter Score
- Feedback to the GPS Product teams on the competitive market landscape and client specific requirements, to help drive product enhancements and developments as appropriate
To be successful you will need
- A strong understanding of Payment Types Regionally & awareness Globally; A strong understanding of the various industry standard formats (including ISO20022), testing processes and methodologies
- A strong understanding of the key industry changes, with specific reference to Swift MT to MX (ISO)migration and the requirements and impact to our client base (Corporate & FIG)
- Experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery and appropriate prioritisation
- Strong experience of working in customer facing roles, tailoring solutions to various client sectors and delivering excellent customer service
- A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways; Additional languages are an asset
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written, with experience of adapting style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered to both customers and internal stakeholders
