We are seeking an experienced dynamic Corporate Relationship Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of Offshore Corporate clients from Turkey and Egypt. These are clients with unique requirements. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver tailored banking solutions, drive revenue growth, collaborate with other business areas and engage with clients to strengthen long-term client relationships.  The role involves deep engagement with Global Relationship Managers and Global Corporate Clients to provide seamless cross-border banking solutions while ensuring adherence to regulatory, compliance and credit standards. 
In this role, you will:
•    Focus on growing the offshore booking business sustainably, by identifying opportunities to expand a portfolio and broadening client relationships by leveraging HSBC's extensive network. 
•    Drive new revenue growth through identifying new clients to optimize balance-sheet lending and sustain growth from existing clients by improving product penetration by cross-selling.
•    Develop and grow trustful relationships with GRBs, country heads, product partners in sites (E.g. Turkey and Egypt). that could benefit from offshore booking.  
•    Pro-actively acquiring new clients that fit into the GNB framework (e.g. work as new business hunter). Manage end-to-end onboarding and KYC processes. 
•    Ensure all offshore clients comply with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements. 
•    Ensure proactive relationship building/customer contact plans and pipeline management for both existing and new customers.
•    Monitor the client portfolio regularly and generate quality assets using appropriate risk management tools, priced appropriately for risk and within customers and HSBC's risk appetite.
•    Establish an effective working relationship with Risk to validate the accuracy of the customer risk profile and ensure sustainable asset growth.
•    Maintain a proactive calling programme to service clients, ensuring senior management and key stakeholders for our top tier clients are contacted regularly.
•    Ensure a quality service for all customers by owning customer engagement, ensuring service excellence at all times, for all aspects of any customer, prospect or professional’s interaction with HSBC
•    Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating and mitigating risk.
•    Ensure adherence to all applicable operational risk HSBC Standards and policies, reporting any breaches in accordance with local procedures
•    Keep abreast of developments, products and offerings from HSBC, competitors and market changes
•    Ensure prompt escalation or sharing of relevant information relating to the client, so that members of the client coverage team can form and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the risks to HSBC by the client 
•    Support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making 
•    Provide technical leadership and support technical excellence by searching out best practice, monitoring technical and professional developments, sharing knowledge and encouraging others to do the same in the best interests of HSBC and its customers. 
•    Encourage and enable constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork and challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customers.
•    Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice. 
•    Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise.
 

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
•    Corporate Banking and Relationship Management experience managing large-corporate clients and MNC
•    Experience working in Turkey and Egypt preferred. Regional experience will be an added advantage. 
•    Proven track record in business development, deal origination, identifying opportunities, and successfully on-boarding of new clients.
•    Strong credit and financial analytical skills
•    Strong technical knowledge of banking products and proven experience in leading complex Global Payments Solutions, Credit & Lending, Global Trade Solutions, Investment Banking and HIF solutions.  
•    Comprehensive knowledge of economic trends and regulatory environment
•    Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
•    Ability to position bank propositions for the region.
•    Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness.
•    Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
•    Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
•    Post graduate/professional qualification like CA, MBA, CFA will be added advantage.
•    Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years’ contract would be issued.
